LAS VENTURAS METROPOLITAN POLICE DEPARTMENT
APPLICATION FOR LATERAL TRANSFER
STATUS: OPENED
The Las Venturas Metropolitan Police Department allows for transfers from across the State of San Andreas, this includes not limited to the following department(s):
- Los Santos Police Department
- Los Santos County Sheriff's Department
- San Fierro Police Department
- San Andreas Highway Patrol
- (( At this point and time this applies for External Transfers. All of your 'experience' in the thread must be put in to include the communities, ranks, and positions. ))
- (( You must be in good standing with Project Las Venturas, such as admin record. ))
To be considered for a transfer to the Las Venturas Metropolitan Police Department, you must abide and meet the following requirements:
- U.S Citizen
- San Andreas State POST Certified, with minimum one year experience
- A valid San Andreas Driver's License
- Must have been in good standing with previous department, and no pending investigations
- (( Community transfers must provide proof of position within said community. ))
Job Functions
- Enforcing laws at both federal, state, and county levels.
- Patrolling assigned areas, responding to 911 calls ranging from domestic disturbances, medical emergencies, to active crimes in progress.
- Conducting traffic stops, investigating accidents, and managing crowd control for major events on the Strip.
- Conducting preliminary investigations at crime scenes, gathering evidence, and interviewing victims and witnesses.
- Executing arrest warrants, subduing uncooperative suspects, and testifying in court.
Conditions
- Submitting a lateral transfer request does not guarantee you a position within the Las Venturas Metropolitan Police Department.
- A rank equivalent will not always be available, in most cases it is more than likely to be offered a full officer position.
In some cases, you may be conditionally approved under the terms you either have to provide more information, or pass an Instructed Written Test. - You aware made aware that it can take anywhere between 12-48 hours before getting a response.
